Quiet and peaceful
A typical Swedish home in a quiet peaceful environment only a stone’s throw from Stockholm City with nature just around the corner.
Want to experience a typical Stockholm life outside the city centre? Then this is the place for you! We pride ourselves on the verdant environment, fresh air and little traffic.
Only 10min by car and 20min with local transports from the city center of Stockholm – here drivers are kindly letting pedestrians pass on the crossing without stress, and within walking distance from our house, there is a small woodland with walks where you will find a typical Swedish restaurant and a bakery.
Our response to satisfied clients’ general wish list:
The company was registered in 2003 and has been rated one of Stockholm’s best B&Bs every year.
1998 I decided to end my career as an art teacher and booked a trip to Tibet with a return ticket six months later from Kathmandu. I brought along my video camera and one of the results was a documentary about life in a Tibetan exile monastery.
For me, this became my meeting with Buddhism. Mexico, India and Indonesia are some of the exiting countries I have spent longer periods in. When we travel to new places and have a positive and open mind, interesting encounters and experiences will occur. That is why I decided to keep meeting travellers by starting Helens Bed and Breakfast.

The room is -small, cosy and romantic- is a recurring comment from many guests.
It’s the smallest and perhaps the cosiest of the rooms. The room is bright owing to the two windows, and it is situated down a few steps close to the private shower/bathroom (Stockholm shower) and the kitchenette.
The firm queen-size bed, 140 cm, is below one of the windows, and a beautiful textile from Kashmir hangs on the wall. There is also a wardrobe and storage.
